The Multnomah Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET) is ready to assist you in becoming emergency prepared for yourself, your household, and your neighbors.

Collecting, studying, and applying emergency preparedness information can be a daunting task. There is an overwhelming assortment of information available that may be contradictory or may not apply to the Portland area risks. We can help guide you through information so you can plan and implement a sensible plan for yourself, your household, and your neighbors.

Multnomah NET supports your emergency preparedness efforts through information we provide in a variety of formats and venues, including:

Multnomah NET Meetings - These are routinely scheduled planning meetings where a variety of emergency preparedness topics are discussed. These meetings are open to the public. See the schedule here.
Community Preparedness Pods - This program enables you to organize emergency preparedness along with your neighbors. We build stronger communities when we prepare for emergencies, large and small, with our neighbors. Read More...
Speakers Bureau - Multnomah NET volunteers are trained to deliver a one-hour overview presentation prepared by the Portland Bureau of Emergency Management. This presentation is designed for delivery to mutual interest and faith groups, community and professional organizations, or neighborhood groups.
Community Events - Look for our booth or table at local events like Multnomah Days, Earth Day, SW Parkways, and other community block parties and picnics.
Local Block Parties and Picnics - We can set up a table to answer questions and deliver information at picnics and street-level block parties.
